Competition Results;

The Competition Secretary announced the results

No twos today so the pot goes to the Emperor’s Tin, as agreed several meetings ago!

Duffers of the Day with 34 points were Johnnie and Bumpers, also Emperor and Rabbi all four receive a one shot uplift.

DDoTD with 36 points were Crocs and Ming, unfortunately nothing for them.

Runners up were Monty and El Mat with a very creditable 41 points and both get £2

But champion golfers of the week were Kwok and The Laird with a magnificent 46 points. Both get £6 and a one shot reduction.

Geezer Cards gleaned £4.10 (how does that work)

Swears £7.40 which was a much better effort than of late. Perhaps the temperature is making tempers fray!!

Last week’s minutes were accepted.

Toasts

No toasts, but Bumpers observed that a Morpeth Harrier (Daniel Dixon) had been selected to represent England in the Commonwealth Games Triathlon. MOHGS send him our support and best wishes (will he ever know?)

Shagpile had made contact with the Laird, he had checked out Foxton for an overnighter (Sunday/Monday) in October at a cost of £125 Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and two rounds of golf. There was a general approval for Shagpile to explore dates.

Herbie offered a vote of thanks to Crocs for organising the golf at Bridlepath last Friday. Those who attended agreed that it was a good day.
