A field of 14 today, so the competition was singles.

The esteemed stand in Competition Secretary announced the results.
One two today; Herbie at the 4th, worth £2.80
Honourable mention of an eagle at the 6th by Wellen. No payout though!
Duffer of the Day was Ming with 26 points.
DDoTD with 33 points was Crocs.
Runner up and receiving £2 was Two Beers with 42 points
Winners and Champions for the week were Geezer and Herbie, with 43 points. They received £6 each deservedly.
Obviously, handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.

First toast was to all service personnel, past and present, without whom we would not be able to play golf.

Fourteen will be dining, and consensus was for curry.
Agreed to start at 10am, 3 club challenge hopefully 18 holes with food in the bar at 2.30pm.
PF did offer to organise a quiz.
Names were taken for Boxing Day golf, two tee times would be required.
The Rabbi was an OOB card missing Brains thought he may have it!
Clarification on winter rules, it was decided that the ball should be moved to the side nearest to any ball on the fairway.
Herbie announced arrangements for Alnmouth Village on 25th November. Meet at clubhouse 10am for bacon butties. Tee times 10.28 and 10.36, should have eight golfers!
The Rabbi gave an update on Biggles. He is back home and having physio organised. Speech Therapist not as good as hoped so PL’s cousin going to help out. Slow but steady progress is being maintained. It will be their daughter’s first birthday next week. Happy Birthday from the MOHGS.
