AOB

The Geezer had observations from the course, the 16th hole to be exact! One of their fourball was having difficulty locating his ball on the fairway. When he eventually found it and played, his trolley took off under its own momentum and ended up in the ditch. The hapless Herbie at this stage attempted to recover clubs and trolley from the ditch, expecting some assistance from partners. To no avail, apparently they were convulsed with mirth at Herbie’s misfortune. As were the two ball behind them!!!

Nevertheless, Herbie had the last laugh pocketing £6.20 today.

The Laird announced that today would be his last Monday until February, Brains had kindly agreed to assume the Comp. Secs. role in the Laird’s absence. However should assistance be required, the Geezer would always provide!

Clarification was sought on the status of the wood to the left of the eleventh hole. The Geezer claimed that it was now not GUR. Herbie went hotfoot to the pro to get definitive answers. Unfortunately he did not return.

There was also some discussion on the status of 15th hole as today each group had played to a different hole location. The Competition Secretary decided to overlook this anomaly

There being no further business the meeting closed at 13.15
