The Rabbi as most senior member of MOHGS assumed the role as temporary Handicap Secretary and decided that because of the low turnout, today would be a non-counting day.

Results :  N/A but it should be noted that the Emperor had an absolutely magnificent two on the 4^th.

Two Beers assumed the Chair

A field of 10 today, so the competition was singles.  

Competition Results;

The Stand-In Competition Secretary announced the results.

Three twos today at the 17^th, Rabbi, Matador, Kwok all share £2

Duffer of the Day was Davo with 29 points.

DDoTD with 30 points was The Cardinal.

Runners up and receiving £1 each were Herbie, Bumpers, Rabbi, Emperor with 35 points

Winner and Champion for the week was Brains with a magnificent 39 points. A worthy winner of £6 sweep.

Obviously, handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.

Geezer Cards raised £2.60.

Swears raised £3.90, and the Geezer was missing.

Toasts

The Chair of the day attempted to propose a toast to the England football team for progressing to the last 16 in the World Cup.

Little support for the attempt, and no more toasts.

Last week’s minutes were accepted.

Next week is the Christmas Party. Tee times 10am with meal at 2.30pm. Competition is 3 clubs and a putter, hopefully over 18 holes if we are quick! At the moment we have 14 for the meal and festivities.

The Chairman galloped through the meeting so it closed at 12.55!
