A field of 13 today, so the competition was singles off full MOHGS handicap!  

Competition Results;

The Stand-In Temporary Competition Secretary announced the results.

No twos today so £2.60 rolled over to next week!

Duffer of the Day was Herbie with 26 points so he receives a welcome 2 shot uplift.

DDoTD was Brains with 29 points.

Runners up and receiving £2 each were The Geezer and Bumpers with 41 points.

However the winner with a score of 42 points was The Emperor, £8 winnings in his pouch.

Obviously, handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.

Swears/absence of Geezer Cards raised £6.20, thanks largely to Herbie who shamed the MOHGS into contributing.

The Temporary Stand In Chairman welcomed Joe Gibson to our fold, his moniker is to be Silver Fox and more fondly as JG(3).

Johnnie pointed out that next weeks comp. would be for the Christmas Trophy and restricted to 3 clubs and a putter!

The Rabbi advised that Biggles has been transferred to DMRC Stanford Hall on the Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire border for rehabilitation and says Biggles is enjoying it! MOHGS send him our best wishes.

Crocs has seen Shagpile who sends MOGS his good wishes and hopes to see us soon.

The Geezer became animated over the Green Course, (better than the Green Mile). He suggested that MOHGS should play off the green course when green course cards were available. The Chair clarified that this should only be during the winter season! It was agreed if and when Green Course Cards are available the MOHGS would play off the Green Tees during winter.

The Chair suggested that in the absence of Geezer Cards all players should pay 40p into the coffers! Was this put to a vote and agreed?? I await clarification.

The Geezer attempted to con a pint out of the Silver Fox however the cunning fellow was having none of it!
