Nine players today, so the Laird came up with an innovative team game, one score on the par 4’s and two scores at the par 3’s and 5’s.
Competition Results;
Two two’s recorded at the 8th and 17th by Herbie who takes the whole £1.80 stake!
Duffers of the Day were The Cardinal, Silver Fox and Rabbi 55 points

AOB
Bumpers apologised for not making the starting gate, he claims to have slept in!
Crocs has a gimpy knee so is trying to protect it prior to Craigielaw.
The Chairman is also struggling with injury, however he had managed to see Jockstrap. MOHGS send all our best wishes to Bobby.
Observations from the course came from The Geezer who claimed that Herbie’s tee shot at the 17th was the closest to a hole in one he had seen without it going in!
The Laird followed this up with an observation from 13th tee, a four ball was teeing off on the 16th at the same time and Steve Bolton hit his drive and somehow managed to end up face down in the mud! surrounded the 11th hole. Steve was in the clubhouse to acknowledge the feat!
Biggles is being worked hard in rehab, his speech is improving and he is working hard to improve his core strength. Family visits are keeping him going. MOHGS wish him well.
There are 6 players for Monday 20th March at Morpeth so The Laird will cancel two tee times.
He has asked Margaret to book our usual tees on Monday 1 May because they do not appear to have been prebooked.
Monday 8th May the course is closed to members, so we will need an alternative strategy. The Laird is to investigate an away match v Hobson.
The meeting closed at 12.20pm
