Ten players this fine sunny morning, as we were playing for the AGM Bell, singles was the order of the day. Only 12 holes available.

Herbie was cajoled into assuming the chair.

Competition Results.

No twos today, £2.00 into the coffers.

Duffer of the Day was Cardinal with 17 points.

Deputy Duffers of the Day were Crocs, Kwok, and The Geezer with 27 points.

Runner up and getting £3 was Brains with 31 points.

Today’s winner was Bumpers with 32 points, he gets £7 and the AGM Bell.

Handicaps will be adjusted in the time-honoured manner.

Levy raised £5.10.

Geezer cards raised £3.10.

Swears raised £2.80.

The Laird suggested we assemble at Slaley Hall at 11am next Sunday. Two Beers is back on Friday and will check with Slaley that it is open and trolley etiquette.

The following are assumed to be playing on Easter Monday.

Cardinal, Ming, Bumpers?, Laird, Silver Fox, Two Beers, Rabbi, Crocs, Herbie, Johnnie, Winker. The Laird has booked three tee times from 8.30am

On 8 April, bookings have been made through to 30 September, 8.30 to 9am tee times.

Brains pointed out that 5 MOHGS had failed to notify him of their handicap for the coming season. Those are The Straggler, Ming, Sparky, Silver Fox and Winker. If they fail to advise Brains before next Monday, it was agreed that  they will have to play off scratch in the MOHGS competitions.

The meeting closed at 11.15am, followed immediately by the AGM.
