The Laird announced that on 30th September a number of MOHGS would be away. After a show of hands, he will cancel two tee times at Morpeth for that day.

Herbie’s Tour will be reassessed after Craigielaw wanted massive price for single rooms. He will cogitate further before coming up with another suggestion.

The Laird announced that from 18 November until 3 February 2025, tee tines will start at 9am.

Crocs had been moved by the appearance of a decorated Christmas Tree at a Garden Centre. He announced that it was never too early to start planning for festivities.

Herbie tried to embarrass Sparky by announcing he had failed to clear the Ladies Tee on the 5th. Sparky did manage a 5 though.

The Laird did remind MOHGS not to take relief on the tee boxes 15, 17 and 18.

MOHGS sent good wishes to the Chairman on the occasion of his Competition, he was missed.

Thanks, should have been offered to The Emperor for yet another well organised feast! The sandwiches and chips were well received with the free drink. Even the interloper enjoyed his buttie.

The meeting closed at 1.10pm.
