Unfortunately, Ming had to leave the course early, his wife was taken ill, and he had to go home. We wish her well.

Three twos today at the 17^th, all in the same playing group, Minty, Rabbi and Kwok

Another two at the 4^th by The Cardinal meant that the share of £1.20 was negligible so it went into the Emperor’s Tin.

Brains quickly adjusted the competition to a blind 3 ball competition.

Duffers of the day were Rabbi, Johnnie and Herbie with 91 points. They all get a one-shot uplift.

Deputy Duffers of The Day and Runners Up were Kwok, Minty and Brains with 100 points. They get nothing.

Which means that today’s winners were The Geezer, The Cardinal and Two Beers with 112 points. They get £3 each and a one-shot reduction.

Swears raised £2.60.

Johnnie advised that Michael Metcalf was organising a golf competition in aid of Motor Neurone Disease. Taking place on 29^th May 2026 at Morpeth, Bedlington and Newbiggin, entry is £25 per head. It would be good to see MOHGS supporting Michael and this excellent cause. It was agreed that the MOHGS would like to play at Bedlington and names should be sent to Johnnie asap.

Next week is the AGM, at which the AGM Bell will be contested. Apologies from DGM and TM.

The Bob Hallett Trophy will be contested on 13 April.

Crocs has negotiated accommodation in Masham at about £80 per head for a single room. He has been given several dates, and he would like to collate as many players as possible. Please advise Crocs if you are available on as many of the following dates as possible.

20^th, 27^th April. 10^th, 17^th, 31^st May.

The Geezer very kindly distributed 2 for 1 Vouchers to the meeting. He was thanked profusely.
