Eleven golfers this fine Autumn morning. Competition Secretary had to nominate yet another singles off full MOHGS handicap with putting out.
The Chairman opened the meeting.
The Laird read out an e-mail from Soapy’s family informing the MOHGS that he had passed away last Monday at the age of 91. The e-mail complimented MOHGS for helping Soapy integrate into the club and for helping him after Margaret died 10 years ago. The funeral will be held at 3pm on Tuesday 21st October at Northumberland Woodland burial and crematorium, and afterwards at the Crematorium. The Laird has informed the club to enable a message to be posted. Those MOHGS wishing to attend please let The Laird know by Wednesday!
We had a few moments of reflection prior to this morning’s tee off.
