Twelve golfers this fine Autumn morning enabled the Competition Secretary to designate ‘Lift Off’. Three, two, one competition for teams of three! Ninety percent of MOHGS handicap, putting out but bunkers GUR and preferred lies through the green.

The Chairman chaired the meeting with aplomb.

Results

No Two today so the tin gets an extra £2.40.

Duffers of The Day were Silver Fox, Rabbi and Herbie with only 59 points. They get a 1 shot uplift!!

Deputy Duffers of The Day were Brains, Two Beers and Ming with 65 points.

Runners Up were Davo, Winker and Matador with 68 points.

However, today’s winners were Geezer, The Laird and The Cardinal with a remarkable 81 points.

They get £4 each and a one-shot reduction.

Swears raised £4.30.

Geezer Cards raised £2.60.

Toasts

Geezer offered a toast to May Shaw, assistant pro who has moved onto a new role at Ponteland Golf Club. She has achieved considerable success with the Junior Section. We thank her and wish her well in her new role.

Aaron Rai for winning the Abu Dhabi Championship in a play-off against Tommy Fleetwood.
