Thirteen golfers this morning left the Competition Secretary with little option to designate a singles competition off full MOHGS handicap.
The Chairman opened the meeting by welcoming The Emperor and asking for a health update. The Emperor informed the meeting that he was still in severe discomfort, nay pain. He is awaiting a date for a new hip!
Results
One Two today at the 8th by The Matador, he scoops the pot of £2.60.
Duffer of The Day was The Laird with 20 points; he gets a 3 shot uplift.
Deputy Duffer of The Day was Winker with 23 points; he gets a 2-shot uplift.
Deputy Deputy Duffer of the Day was Ming with 23 points; he gets a one-shot uplift.
In Third spot were Brains and The Cardinal with 30 points, they get £1 and a one-shot reduction.
Runner Up was Herbie with 31 points; he gets £4 and a 2-shot reduction.
However, todays winner was Silver Fox with 32 points, he gets 7 and a 3 shot reduction.
Swears raised £3.60.
Geezer Cards raised £2.60.

Crocs informed that the Four Ball at Masham was valid until the end of April 2026. He continues to investigate??
Any Other Business
The Emperor notified that the Christmas Party was planned for 15th December. Brains suggested a change of date so that those away could attend in the New Year.
After discussion it was agreed to hold the Christmas Party in Honour of Burns (Robbie or Dan?) Night on 26th January 2026.
However, the Christmas Plate will still be played for on 15th December.
The Competition Secretary reminded all that next week balls will go in the bag at 8.45am
